Take time every day to be grateful for what you have. For what you have accomplished and for what you will accomplish. Baby steps every day in the direction of your goals! You are closer each day.
Gratitude is one of the best lessons I have learned. Every morning when I wake up I immediately think of 3 things that I am grateful for. So often we get distracted with the hustle and bustle of life, and moving so quickly from one thing to another that we can lose sight of all the amazing blessings that are in our lives. Take time to look around and be present and appreciate all that you have.
Yes, it is important to have goals and to stay focused on them, however, it is also important to take a moment and express gratitude for all that you have accomplished up to this point as well (even if you aren’t exactly where you want to be).
I have definitely been guilty of this, moving so quickly from thing to thing and being so focused on everything going on or that I need to do, that I lose track of everything I have done. I have had to train myself to focus on gratitude. Every morning when I wake up, I immediately think of 3 things that I am grateful for, I do the same thing before I fall asleep at night. I think of 3 things that I am grateful for.
Doing this every day puts you in the mindset of all that you have and all that you have accomplished. It is encouraging, motivating, inspiring and helps to move you forward!
